A Little History
In 1989 a collection of ideas came together in 1200 square feet of salon space in the Phar Mor shopping center on 66th street; Salon Volo. We spent 9 years growing there until 1998 when the need for more space landed us in the 3000 square foot location we have now.
Owner Rob Godfrey Spent 10 years during the growth of Salon Volo as an international platform artist for Redken 5th Avenue. Now he directs all of his efforts towards growing his staff and his business. In 2003 Salon Volo hired KRS consulting firm and became a KRS salon. Although Rob still provides hair services to guests, he is now focused on growing people for a living. Rob, with the help of his KRS consultant, coaches each team member toward career goals that will ultimately lead them to live a better life.

Our regular hours are:
Monday 12pm to 9pm
Tuesday thru Friday 9am to 9pm
Saturday 9am to 5pm
We are closed for major holidays
Appointments
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. We schedule appointments according to the time needed for the service you're having. If you are running late, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Arriving late will likely limit the time allocated for your service; it will lessen the effectiveness and most importantly your pleasure and enjoyment. We request a 24-hour notice for all cancellations. We will confirm you appointment 24 to 48 hours prior. Thank you for your consideration and understanding. Gratuities are not included in the price of services and are greatly appreciated. Suggestions are always welcome.
Waiting list
We highly recommend reserving your next appointment during your visit. Due to peak times and high demand for many of our service providers, we can't always accommodate your schedule. If we do not offer the waiting list, please ask to be placed there so we can call you first in the event of a cancellation.
Gift Certificates
